Dennis was called to the Ghanaian Bar in 2017 and holds a Qualifying Certificate in Law (QCL) from the Ghana School of Law. He is the recipient of the prestigious prize as the best student in family law in 2016 and the Cadbury Prize for best graduating student in Psychology of the University of Ghana in 2012.
As a consultant, he specializes in legal benchmarking and audit of Ghana’s laws, regulation and institutional framework to assess their effectiveness in relation to international agreements, protocols and national policies. Dennis also assists in the organization of the consultancy’s quarterly Legal Working Group for Civil Society Groups and regular training programmes for the media, Police Prosecutors and Judges and Magistrates on Ghana’s legal framework on the environment and natural resources.
As a solicitor, he has advised clients on corporate regulatory compliance, intellectual property, tax, labor disputes and commercial transactions. Dennis has acted as a barrister for insurance claims, commercial dispute resolution and family matters. Dennis has previous work experience with Strategy Africa, ENSafrica Ghana and Bentsi-Enchill, Letsa & Ankomah.
Dennis is passionate about human rights and he is a member of Amnesty International Ghana. He also holds Bachelor of Science (BSc.) in Psychology, and a Bachelor of Law (LL. B) both from the University of Ghana, Legon.
